Last week we made it out to the Arboretum to see the cherry blossoms. This week, I have my eye on the Tulip Fest and the Plant Sale and Goat Gala.

Set in the location that was dug out but never finished for I95, the Wake up the earth festival gathers in the land once earmarked for the highway and now is a farm, park and community staple. The festival is going on 48 years and is full of music, dancing, food, a parade and activities celebrating the community.
